We’re waiting on the final confirm from our Cocoa venue, but we can’t hold it in any longer! We’ll be spending two sweaty weeks in the Wetnursemobile as we traverse Florida in August, and we hope you’ll spend them with us!
Share, share, share!
We’ll also be releasing a Kickstarter in the next few days for a few dollars for the trip, and we’ve got some great stuff to reward your generosity! We’ll be making/finding the event pages in the coming weeks for the shows as well, so stay tuned!
Hoops is the jam! So happy with the turnout at the show last night and that the Suede Dudes had a great night! Still on a show high. :) We’ll be seeing the Dudes again on our tour in August when we play Ft. Lauderdale, so you better come back on out!
Show’s at Hoops on Amelia downtown, across from the Lynx bus station. Starts at 9PM this Saturday the 2nd and entry is FREE, but throw a few bucks to the bands and buy some merch! Hoops has also let us know that they’ve got redonk drink specials for the night as well - $5 for a 24oz draft beer and a well shot! We know how much all of you like carrying around those pitchers and getting crunk, so do it with us!
Add yourself to the “Attending” list on Facebook HERE! See you there!
I have been trying to figure out how to sum up this past week in a Tumblr post, and I think this video does it!
Driving all the way up to Tallnasty to play with the Jacuzzi Boys and Holyringers this past Tuesday was amazing. Playing to all of our friends at Lou’s (as you can see) on Thursday and nearly bringing the house down was amazing! Life as a Wet Nurse right now is pretty amazing! OK, time for new adjectives. But seriously, our friends and new fans (hi!) have been so supportive and awesome. You can tell from all of our faces in that video that we really do have fun and feed off of all your energy. There’s nothing quite like playing to a hometown crowd that knows your songs.
That said (dun da na NAAAA!) - we’re taking up the challenge of booking ourselves a full Florida tour for late summer! Let’s make every show a hometown show! We get excited just thinking about it and can’t wait to share our crazy tunes with the rest of the Sunshine State. If you have any recommendations, horror stories, fun stories, basically anything to share, pop it in our ask box!
Let the milk flow forth.
P.S. Video credit goes to none other than Tantrum Dan! THANK YOU for arriving early (like everyone was supposed to, haha) and staying late for our set. Best video ever.
